English Language Preparation

English language courses

If you do not meet the English language entry requirements for one of the International Study Centre programmes, you can still enrol by taking an English language course first.

Courses take place at Durham University International Study Centre on Queen’s Campus in Stockton-on-Tees. When you complete your English language course and achieve the required grades, you can begin the International Foundation Year or Pre-Masters programme.

English language preparation

This course helps to raise your English language skills to the level you need for your programme at the International Study Centre. The course is for one or two terms, depending on your current level of English.
