If your English skills do not meet our entry requirements, you can enrol on an English language course first.

How do university preparation programmes work? 

University preparation programmes give you the knowledge, skills and English language training you need to meet the entry requirements for your chosen degree at university. Our programmes offer direct progression to more than 100 degrees at Durham University (providing you meet the required grades).

When you successfully complete your pathway programme and achieve the required grades you will be fully prepared to begin your undergraduate or postgraduate degree at Durham.
